Feminine epitome of strength, Goddess Durga symbolizes the devine force and positive energy that fight against evil forces and wickedness. We started our own humble tribute to this femine epitome on 2015. Since then, we have been celebrating Durgotsav -the annual homecoming of the goddess with her children to her parent's home, with utmost reverence and dedication. Our 6 days homage to the goddess starts on panchami, with welcoming of the goddess by inaugurating the puja rituals. Seeking her blessings, we enjoy the bhog prasadam altogether on saptam,astami, and navami. We bid her goodbye for a year with a heavy heart on dashami day. Our puja stands as a platform to bring together the entire bengali community of Dhanbad under one roof, to enjoy fellow feeling and a sense of togetherness.
