Welcome To Bengali Welfare Society

"Give me the strength for the selfless service O Lord and enable me to give hope to those I am called to serve."

Since the inception of Bengali Welfare Society in the year 2010, we have been serving the community through our various activities. BWS is registered under the Society Registration Act XXI 1860 We organise medical camping different rural areas as well as in the city and provide medical help to the needy patients. To fulfill the scarcity of blood, we regularly organise blood donation camps in different areas of the town. Till date we have organized more than 150 blood donation camps in association with the government blood bank of SNMMCH, Dhanbad. Apart from organizing camps we also provide blood donors in case of emergency. We run a ambulance and a hearse (dead body carry van) at no profit no loss basis, since last 10 years.

Last year we have introduced a weekly feeding program at SNMMCH where every Wednesday a complete meal at Rs 5 only is provided to the outdoor patients and their attendants. Till date (11/06/23) 16800 meals have been served. Distribution of blankets and clothes among the needy and underprivileged is a regular activity of our organisation.< We often provide monetary help for the medical expenses to the financially weaker people. We provide study materials to the economically weaker students. We also conduct awareness programs like world environment day / Eye Donation etc To uplift and promote our rich bengali culture we regularly organise cultural programs like Vivekanand jayanti Netaji jayanti Rabindra jayanti Bijoya sommiloni etc. We celebrate Durga Puja with pomp and show.

We are proud to be the organiser of the largest Book Fair in Jharkhand. With our dedicated service we try to create a positive impact on the community by bringing smiles to million faces specially the underprivileged.

Join us in our journey and be the change.
